Spring is here!

Dear friends,

There is something very appealing about a cute bunny. Little baby ducks, too. In fact, they're so cute, I just wanna eat 'em up! Literally! That's right - rich, melty, chocolatey adorableness from the spring offerings from Rose City Chocolates are simply irresistable.

Don't forget that Easter is early this year - it's this Sunday! - and bunnies are going fast (don't they always?) so come in soon for vegan basket fillers. Take my Tofurky… please!

We only have a couple Tofurky Feasts left, and some gravy. They're good for many (many) more months, but I want to make room for summer treats! So to help clear off a shelf in the freezer, I'm offering the last of the Tofurkey products at just 10% above cost; a great deal for a great meal. Included in this sale are frozen wheat pie crusts from Wholly Wholesome. I love these light, flaky crusts - I make my potluck-favorite pot pie with them - but with freezer space at a premium, you get a super price on them.

Gluten-Free

Our gluten-free section is expanding, and my favorite addition is Enjoy Life cookies, in either Chocolate Chip or Snickerdoodle. I happen to know that their Snickerdoodle flavor is particularly yummy dunked in cold soy milk. Not sure you'll like them? The Snickerdoodles are available as a 2-pack. We also have Elisa-tested gluten-free oats from Bob's Red Mill, pizza crust from Nature's Hilights, and a new cookbook, The Gluten-Free Vegan by Susan O'Brien. Soy Delicious has a new line of soy yogurt - thick and creamy, with 5 flavors (arriving at their own pace) to try at a great introductory price.

Yummy Earth has come out with organic, Vitamin C enhanced lollipops and candy drops to help boost immune systems, young and old.

A little less healthy but too good to pass up, we now have accidentally-vegan graham crackers from Nabisco and Fortune Cookies from LaChoy.

Laptop bags from Queen Bee! In their trademark panache, Queen Bee has created high style laptop carrier bags. I'm starting simple: 2 of PVC-free vinyl, and 1 of recycled banner, but I can always order more.

Returns of old favorites
