Volunteers keep everything bright and shiny, they unload deliveries, put price tags on items, stock shelves and ring up sales. They provide the best customer service because they care about helping the people who come in.

Ken "It's easy to feel alone - especially if you are vegan. You can feel an island in your ethics, surrounded by a sea of barbecue sauce. I volunteer at Sidecar for Pigs Peace because here I get to meet other vegans and vegetarians and do real, tangible good for the animals. Sidecar is a place that says to me "this isn't a fashion statement or a diet plan or a movement. It's a better way to live"." |

Veda I have been a vegan and an animal rights activist since 1988 which makes it as absolutely amazing as it is just plain fun to volunteer at an all-vegan store. All-vegan. Wow... Who woulda thought?! And it is wonderful to be there to serve people who are committed to living compassionate and generous lives. |
